Malverne School District

The district is proud to announce that Malverne High School on being named a 2024-25 School of Excellence by the New York State Public High School Athletics Association!

The School of Excellence status requires that 75% of a school’s varsity teams receive the NYSPHSSA Scholar-Athlete team award. To qualify for the Scholar-Athlete award, 75% of a team’s players must have a grade-point average for the season equal to or greater than 90%.

Only 42 schools on Long Island and 221 schools statewide were awarded the Schools of Excellence designation.
