The MHS Spoken Word Poetry Club was invited to Nassau Community College to be featured on the “My Hometown” radio show on 90.3 WHPC.

Club president and MHS Poet Laureate Nirvana Cole, co-treasurers Tatiyana Forbes-Smith and Luciana Valerio, MHS Poet Laureate Uche Alozie and librarian Ms. Bowman were interviewed by Class of 2020 alums Bill Horan and Regina Halstead.

During the two half hour programs, the students discussed the club and shared their original works.
