The panel of distinguished judges did not have an easy task, but ultimately they announced our winners:

1st place - Alumni Regina Halstead ("Karma")
2nd place - Tatiyana Forbes-Smith ("Seize")
3rd place (tie) - Skye Clarke ("The Sun's Love") and Gabby Bernabe and Jordan Blue performing Nirvana Cole’s original poem "Our Love"

Thank you to all who participated and came out to support our poets and to our amazing emcee and MHS Class of 2020 alumnus Stuart Oates from Lakeview Public Library for guiding us through this incredible poetic journey.
