Herber students took their message of strength and self-confidence to Davison for a special Red Ribbon Week presentation.
The eighth graders hosted an assembly that started with them reading a book about Making Good Choices and the consequences associated with smoking, drinking and using drugs.
After the reading, the students performed a skit about peer pressure and how making bad decisions can keep you from achieving your dreams and negatively impact the rest of your life.
The presentation concluded with an opportunity to ask questions of the older students, who provided advice on how to handle difficult situations and use your best judgement to make good choices.
Congratulations to our student presenters Julian Bishop, Devin Ocasio, Jada Robinson-Orr and Brennan Murray for an inspiring presentation to our younger students and thank you Ms. Renna for your support and guidance.
