The Malverne Union Free School District is situated less than 30 minutes from midtown Manhattan in the Town of Hempstead, Nassau County, New York, and includes portions of the incorporated villages of Malverne and Lynbrook, as well as the hamlet of Lakeview which is made up of portions of West Hempstead and Rockville Centre. With a proud history of success in all aspects of school endeavor, the Malverne School District is truly a multicultural, multigenerational district with a long history of students who graduate, go to college and come back to Malverne to buy a home and start their families. More than 75 teachers and support staff members are also school district residents. Several Malverne High School graduates have returned to teach in the Malverne schools, contributing to the improvement of higher learning standards.
