On April 29, Downing held their monthly "We Can" and "Portrait of Success" awards ceremonies, where they celebrated students who exemplify the characteristics highlighted on the Malverne "Portrait of a Graduate."
This month, students who demonstrated an innovative spirit were honored, as were students who showed they have the ability to think of new ideas.
Families joined us to cheer on our honorees, and the audience was treated to a delightful musical performance by some of our talented kindergartners.
