Our students celebrated the start of spring by sending a ray of sunshine to local veterans.

As part of a school-wide project, we designed greeting cards celebrating Passover, Easter and spring that were delivered to the American Legion Malverne Post 44 where they will be distributed to veterans.

This activity serves as a link between generations, reminding students of the sacrifices that veterans made for our country and reinforcing the importance of community service.
