The district congratulates sophomore Michael Lawless on being selected as a Bass to perform with the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) National Honor Choir.

Michael was among 4,000 applicants from across the country and one of only 300 invited to perform at the ACDA national conference in Cincinnati, Ohio from February 22-25, 2023.

With the help of Choral Director Mr. Zagare, Michael had to learn and record a song excerpt sent by ACDA, part of his NYSSMA song, and vocal exercises.

This is the second time in Malverne history that a student has been honored with this distinction.
